The establishment of the airport in the 1970’s has placed the small village of Pays de France at heart of a unique communication network, which makes it easily accessible from all over the world (500 destinations to 130 countries) and most cities in France and neighboring countries, thanks to its TGV station. The town is easily accessible by road, 25 kilometres from Paris, by the North highway (Paris, Porte de la Chapelle - Lille), which passes through the territory of the commune, the A3 highway (Paris, Porte de Bagnolet — Paris-Nord 2 - Airport Roissy-Charles de Gaulle), the national highway 17 to the west, or Francilienne that bypasses the village and airport in the north.
Get around
The best served lines are the 32 and 95-02, but seven bus lines in total run through the village, including three specific routes for schoolchildren. To improve access for employees who are not conveyed to the airport platform, a bus service on demand was put in place, requiring a simple telephone reservation up to one hour in advance.
