City Areas
The village is located in the centre of the plain of France, on a vast plateau slightly tilted south to Paris, consisting of Saint-Ouen limestone, particularly resistant to erosion, which provided a tabular structure in the region.
The municipality has a major green space, the garden of the town hall. It is extended to the south by the Parc de l’Orangerie, composed of six small themed gardens, a fitness and small park extension, Cedar Park. The tree that gave its name is one of three cedars remaining from the castle park, which included many species. The other two are located on the airport site, on the other side of the highway in the North. A recreation area has also been arranged in a dry valley. This area, dubbed the "green valley", consists of three walks and a marked bicycle path. And Roissy still has a further three hundred hectares of farmland.
