L’Orangerie
Inaugurated in 1996, L’Orangerie is the cultural center of Roissy. Although it was built as housing for all types of exhibitions, galleries and other cultural events, the center also contains numerous rooms dedicated to literature and music.
The bungalow’s main attraction is the large hall, with a seat capacity of 400.Its size and layout makes it adaptable to the nature of any event it hosts. L’Orangerie also houses a 110 square meter library, a music school and a dance school. Exhibitions are usually held at the mezzanine of the building.
Dance, theatre plays, art displays, all have their place in the annual agenda of this cultural center. A major Japanese film festival is held in November, and the place is also a staging ground for musicians and even comedians. In the rest of the time, L’Orangerie offers training courses in dancing, choreography and different instruments.
